How to Register for Your First Behind the Walls Event (Including Account Creation)

  1. Go to https://behindthewalls. com and click Create Account in the upper right corner of the site.
  2. Fill in the blanks. Ones with red asterisks are required.
  3. For the name blanks, please put in your legal name. If you go by a nickname and you prefer for that to be on your name badge, put it in the Informal name blank. Click save when completed.

  4. When you click Save, the page may come back with There may be a problem with the address you entered. and give you a suggested address. If the suggested address is correct, click the Use This Address button. After you do this, you will need to re-enter the username and password you previously entered and click Save again.

  5. You will be taken back to the front page of the website and your account will be logged in. To select the event to attend, click on the Events Calendar icon/link or Register Now button.

  6. Click on the name of the event for which you would like to register. For this example we will be registering for the 2019 Atlanta GA DOC (Day of Champions).

  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the 2019 Atlanta, GA DOC page and click the CLICK HERE TO SIGN INTO YOUR PROFILE AND REGISTER FOR THE EVENT.

  8. Since you were logged in when you completed the account creation process, you will be taken to the WELCOME page. Read this page and click the Next button.

  9. The next tab is the Statement of Faith tab. Please review Bill Glass Behind the Walls’ Statement of Faith. If you are in agreement with the Statement of Faith, click the Next button to indicate your agreeance. If you do not agree with the Statement of Faith, please do not continue through the sign-up process.

  10. On the PROFILE tab, check to make sure the fields that are already filled in are correct and fill in the others. Those marked with a red asterisks are required.

  11. Make sure you fill out the Church section on the right hand side of the form. First, try searching for your church using the drop down. If your church is not listed, use the pencil on the right side to add your church. Fill in the Church name, Address, City, State, and , if available, website then click the Save button. Click the Next button to advance to the next tab.

  12. On the SECURITY INFORMATION tab, fill in the requested information and click the Next button. This information is required by the correctional facility you will be assigned to for background check purposes.

  13. On the FELONY HISTORY tab, please indicate whether or not you have been convicted of a felony. If no, click the Next button. If yes, you will be asked for additional information. Enter the information and then click the Next button.

    Yes on Felony Conviction

  14. On GROUP LEADER tab, select No if you are not leading a group on the event and click the Next button. If you are leading a group, select Yes, provide the name for your group and then click the Next button.

  15. On the GROUP MEMBER tab, select No if you are not a member of a group and click the Next button. If you are coming with a group, click Yes and select the group of which you are a member. If you do not see your group, contact the group leader and make sure they have already registered and created the group. Then click the Next button.


    If No on GROUP MEMBER:

    If Yes on GROUP MEMBER:

  16. This will take you to the THANK YOU tab. YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT YET. Click the Next button to continue the event registration portion of the process.

  17. To begin the event registration portion, click the Register Myself button.

  18. Then select the Registration Option from the options. This will bring up additional question to be answered. Fill in the additional questions. Those marked with the red asterisks are required. Then click the Save Responses button.

  19. If your answers have been saved, the phrase “Your responses have been saved” will appear beneath the Update Responses button. Make sure that phrase is there before you press the Proceed to Checkout button.

  20. You will be taken to Shopping Cart screen. YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL THIS SCREEN IS COMPLETED. If you have a Promotional Code, enter and click the Apply button. Select the credit card type you wish to use, fill in the details and click the Submit Order button.

  21. You will be taken to the Order Confirmation screen. You will also receive an email copy of your registration. At the bottom of the page, you have the option to email the confirmation to another email address.  If you do not receive an email confirmation of your registration, please call the office as this may indicate your registration did not process correctly.

  22. You are now registered for the event!
