As I am sure you have heard, my beloved Mavis, passed away on Saturday.
I know for sure that Mavis is present with the Lord, which really doesn't
keep us from missing her, but we can always hold on to the fact of her continuous presence in all of our loved ones. As so, we are absolutely comforted with this realization. I am so pleased that I was able to spend 60 years happily married to her and we thank the Lord for our 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, so far.
My son Billy told me that there is a book titled
How to Win when the Roof Caves In that might be comforting to me at this time. (The book I wrote.) Oddly enough it has been, because it is so filled with scripture.
We will have a memorial service at Farley Street Baptist Church, Friday, July 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
I have spoken with many, many people on the phone, and they all ask what they can do. You may send flowers, or in lieu of flowers, it would be a great honor to receive memorial gifts to our ministry. A check may be mailed to Bill Glass Behind The Walls, 1101 S Cedar Ridge, Duncanville, Texas 75137 with a note in the memo line that it is for Mavis. Or, my staff has also made it possible to give a gift online by completing this secure online form.
Thanks so very much for your continued support of this ministry.
And thank you for all of the prayers and notes you have sent for
me and my family. They are a source of great strength,
and I really appreciate them.
In Him as always, with love and appreciation,
Memorial details and arrangements can be found here.
