Run for the ONE!
A virtual 5K to bring hope behind the walls!
Run for the ONE is a virtual 5K that raises funds and awareness for Bill Glass Behind the Walls. For more than 50 years, we’ve trained local church volunteers to take the Gospel into correctional facilities all across the country.
You don’t have to be a runner. You don’t have to be fast. You just have to show up for the ONE.
Run it at your local turkey trot, run it around your neighborhood, or “run” it from your couch. However you do it, every step helps share the Gospel inside prisons.
How It Works
- Register. Sign up at behindthewalls.com/run. Registration is $35.
- Get sponsored. Ask friends, family and coworkers to back your run. If you raise $75, we’ll send you a finisher’s medal.
- Run your 5K the week of Thanksgiving. You can do it anywhere you like:
- Run it during your local turkey trot
- Run it in your neighborhood
- Run it sitting on your couch (we won’t judge!)
- Share it. Post a photo in your shirt or medal and tell people why you’re running for the ONE.
Race Shirt: Every registered runner gets a Run for the ONE shirt. To have it before Thanksgiving, register by November 12. You can still sign up after that date, but your shirt won’t arrive in time for race week.
Finisher’s Medal:
Raise $75 or more in sponsorships and you’ll earn a medal.
