Ministry Update

Merry Christmas form the Bill Glass Behind the Walls family! We have finally reached the end of 2024 and it has been a good year. We wrapped up wth our last event, a time of strategic planning for 2025, and several celebrations of the season and working together as brothers and sisters in Christ. We are looking forward to an even greater 2025!

Christmas in Gatesville: This past weekend our entire staff, with the exception of two Regional Directors, served together on the Gatesville, TX Christmas Day of Champions. We trained 109 Teammates including 29 Rookies who took the Gospel into four facilities and had 1,275 Gospel conversations. 111 women began relationships with Jesus and another 537 repented and retuned to Him. We also trained 319 inmates on how to share the Gospel using our tract. Praise the Lord!

One cool story that came out of the event: The weather was beautiful, but an unfortunate side effect was that the warmer weather made the ugly Christmas sweaters HOT. One of our Teammates, a friend that Bill Glass’ sister Linda Horn brought to the event, overheated and was pulled to the side in the shade to cool down. While recovering, she led the officer she was sitting with to Christ! What Satan intended for bad, God used for His glory!

2024 Results: In 2024, we did the equivalent of 52 events. On those events, we trained 3,374 including 636 Rookies. Those Teammates had 25,241 Gospel conversations resulting in 3,843 men, women, and juveniles surrendering their lives to Jesus and another 7,622 who returned. We were also able to train 3,374 inmates to share the Gospel behind the walls with our tract. What an amazing year!

2025 Events: Our first 2025 event is the Northwest Ohio event on February 1st followed by our first in Fresno for 2025 on February 8th. Then we have one in southern California, back to Ohio (Dayton), and then Livingston, TX to visit the Polunsky unit where Texas death row inmates are held. Strategic Planning: Last week we spent Wednesday through Friday planning and documenting the goals we want to reach in 2025. There are four: 1) Plan and conduct events with excellence, 2) Implement and execute a development strategy that will fully fund events and growth, 3) Educate and implement a communication strategy for internal and external teams, and 4) Build, re-build, and strengthen Local Teams. With 2020 resetting the clock for this ministry, these goals have remained consistent and every year we have seen progress. With the current team that we have in place. I believe we will cover more ground than in previous years. Your continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
