Ministry Update

I pray that you all had a blessed Easter weekend. Through all that happened from Friday and Sunday services, to Easter Ham, to golden eggs (meaning the price of them) Jesus was proclaimed across the globe – even on American Idol on Sunday night. CeCe Winans sang a new song “Come Jesus Come” the lyrics said this...”One day, He’ll come and we’ll stand face to face. Come lay it all down ‘cause it might be today. The time is right now, there’s no need to wait” - Amen to that. Every day we have one less day to see the lost hear the Gospel and make that eternal life changing decision because He may come today!

What a ministry we have that God gave Bill and preserved for all of us...focusing on making Christ and His crucifixion known. It is our mission.

Don Garder and Friends

Shreveport, LA:  On April 12, we had three events in three states! What a blessing to be so busy as we headed into Easter. We trained 37 Teammates including seven Rookies who had 1,000 Gospel conversations! 115 men and women began relationships with Jesus and another 190 repented and returned. On top of that, we trained 195 inmates on how to share the Gospel!

Cook County, IL:  The jail is always a great location to take the Gospel behind the walls. We would love to do more events there. To make that happen, we need a Local Team! If you are interested in helping out in Chicagoland (or wherever you are!) let us know by filling out this form. At that event, we trained 49 Teammates including 12 Rookies. The resulting conversations led to 141 men and women committing their lives to Christ and 217 recommitting. 97 were trained to be evangelists!

Wichita Awards

Wichita, KS:  Wichita has a brand-new Local Team that not only recruited the Teammates but also funded their event and some additional for the next one. They are excited! This Day of Champions was the first one there in ten years. We trained 49 Teammates including 22 Rookies! They had 560 Gospel conversations. 39 men began relationships with Jesus and another 116 repented and returned. 126 were trained to share the Good News. The team and the facility are already working on the next events in Kansas!

Sacramento, CA:  Last weekend, we trained 46 Teammates including 14 Rookies who shared the Gospel with 250 men. 76 began relationships with Jesus and another 28 returned to Him. We also trained 126 to be evangelists! What could be more appropriate than training on Good Friday, taking the Gospel behind the walls on Saturday, then celebrating the new creatures in Christ on Easter Sunday?

Teammate Spotlight: Javier Morales

Our Fresno, CA team has really turned things up a notch in the media department. They were able to get videos of several Teammates from recent events and we will be posting those shortly. The first one is Javier Morales. Javier was introduced to Jesus on May 2, 2008, while incarcerated. That weekend, we held the Fresno, CA Weekend of Champions and one of our Teammates ran the play and Javier went from death to life! Since being released, Javier has gone back in with us nine times. If you go on the next Fresno event, you will probably see him there. Watch his video here.

Golf Challenge

5th Annual Golf Challenge: We are about 5 weeks away from the 5th Annual Bill Glass Behind the Walls Golf Challenge and still need two silver and three bronze sponsorships. We also need golfers! We are only about half full on foursomes. If you are a golfer, we want you to come play and bring some folks who need to be introduced to our ministry. Whether you are a golfer or not, please consider sponsoring a foursome so we can invite some pastors. We want to assist the church and more pastors need to hear about us! More info here.
