Ministry Update


We are closing in on the halfway point of 2025 and while we are immensely grateful for all of the Teammates and inmates we have trained to share the Good News and all the people who have begun or returned to relationships with Jesus, we still have so much to do. There are over 6,000 correctional facilities in the US and we have barely scratched the surface. We need more church connections, more open doors in prisons and jails, and more Christians who want to live out their lives as Jesus directed. The good news: the energy is growing, particularly where we have not been in a while or never. We celebrate while continue moving and looking forward!

Feedback: Feedback is very important to help us make necessary adjustments as we continue to pursue excellence. Everyone who serves on an event receives an email asking them to give feedback. We read those results, celebrate the positive responses, and work through any changes that need to be made. We recently received some feedback from a facility chaplain in Coleman, FL.:


“The day after the event (Sunday, May 4th) we had approximately 45 men attend the chapel service at the medium security prison. That is an average number lately. On Sunday the 11th, there were about 65 participants. We were locked down on the 18th. Then last Sunday, the 25th we had 83 participants in the Christian service. We have almost doubled the attendance since the Bill Glass program on the 3rd. After our service on the 11th, one inmate asked me about being a bond servant since I had mentioned it in the sermon. After explaining it to him, he asked if he was a bond servant. I said if you choose to be one, He said, "Last week I was a sorcerer, this week I'm a bond servant." He gave his testimony on how the Lord had drastically changed his life last Sunday. Praise God for answered prayers.”

The Power of a Father’s Blessing Podcast: As announced on Father’s Day, we will soon be launching The Power of a Father’s Blessing podcast, a podcast based on the message founder Bill Glass preached for most of his life and expounded on in the book he wrote with Terry Pluto, Champions for Life: The  Power of a Father’s Blessing. Join us soon as we talk about relationships with dads that span the spectrum and how that has shaped our guests’ lives. Our first guests include Bill's sons, Bobby and Billy Glass, in separate episodes, pastor and Platform Guest Jon Bell, and Platform Guest and former NFL player Santo Stephens.

Africa Events Update: Pastor TK and his team are adding more events and looking at other countries to expand into in the upcoming months. If you are interested in serving in Africa, we have added the events to our regular Evangelism Events pages with links to register. The event pages include schedules for each event. If you choose to go, you will be responsible for all costs for the event with the exception of in-country travel during the event. Pastor Spotlight: Bruce Zimmerman

Our mission is assisting the local church and when we see a pastor serve on an event, we know we are achieving that goal. When we get a pastor who has been with us as a Teammate, Site Coordinator, and recruiter, we really know we are on track. Bruce Zimmerman is one of those pastors. He just retired as the lead pastor at Waxahachie Bible Church where he pastored for almost 40 years! In that time, he took the Gospel behind the walls 28 times with us. More often than not that was with several from his congregation in tow. We are looking for more pastors like Bruce! Let us know if you want us to reach out to your pastor.
